Who we are
Textezy is operated by IOCOD Infotech Pvt. Ltd., registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (company number [NUMBER]). In this policy, “Textezy”, “we” and “us” mean that company.
Our two roles
We handle personal data in two different ways:
- As a controller for our own website visitors, prospects and account users. This policy explains that processing.
- As a processor for the contacts our customers upload and message. Our customer decides how that data is used, and our data processing agreement governs it. If you received a text from a business using Textezy, please contact that business first.
What we collect
- Account details: name, work email, phone number, business name, address and tax details
- Registration details: business documents and information needed to register you with carriers in each country
- Billing details: payment records and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we don't store full card numbers.
- Usage data: how you use the platform, device and browser details, IP address and log data
- Communications: messages you send to our support and sales teams
- Demo, sign-up and contact requests: your name, work email, business name, country, expected volume and anything you write in our forms

How we use it

Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Mobile carriers, registries and messaging partners needed to deliver messages and complete registrations
- Service providers who host, support or bill for our platform, under contract. Today these are Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivering form submissions to our team by email) Google Fonts (website fonts) and Unsplash (some website images). Loading fonts and images shares your IP address with those providers. We'll keep this list up to date as we add providers.
- Authorities, where the law requires it
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganised, under the same protections
International transfers
Because we serve the US, Canada, the UK, the EU and India, data may be processed in more than one country. Where data leaves the UK or EU, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Our website is served from Vercel's global network, and form submissions are currently processed in India.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active and for 12 months afterwards, unless the law requires longer, for example tax and accounting records, which we keep for up to 8 years. Message logs and consent records are kept for 5 years so customers can show compliance.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. In Canada, rights under PIPEDA apply, and in India, rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. You can also complain to your local regulator, such as the ICO in the UK.

Cookies
Our website doesn't use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we don't run analytics. Your browser's local storage remembers two small things: the pricing region you picked, and the email you typed on the homepage so it can be filled in on the sign-up form. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, logging and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you and the relevant authorities about a breach where the law requires it.
