Terms of service

The agreement between you and Textezy when you use our platform.

Effective date: 22 October 2026

1. The agreement

These terms form an agreement between you (the business using Textezy) and IOCOD Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (“Textezy”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms, our Acceptable use policy and, where it applies, our Data processing agreement.

Textezy is for businesses. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to bind it.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date, especially details used for carrier registrations.
  • Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for activity on your account, including by your team.
  • Tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

3. Your responsibilities

You decide who to message and what to send. You agree to:

  • Only message people who have given the consent required in their country, and keep records of it
  • Honour opt-outs promptly
  • Follow the laws and carrier rules of every country you send to, including TRAI regulations in India, the TCPA and carrier guidelines in the US, CASL in Canada, PECR in the UK, and GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU
  • Follow our Acceptable use policy

Textezy's compliance tools help you meet these rules, but they don't replace your own responsibility for your messages.

4. Registrations

We help prepare and submit registrations such as DLT in India and 10DLC in the US. Approval decisions are made by carriers and registries, not by us, and timings can vary. Third-party registration fees are payable by you and shown before you file.

5. Pricing, credits and billing

  • Pay as you go: there is no monthly fee. You buy prepaid credits, which are used as messages are sent.
  • Custom plans are agreed in writing with you, and their billing terms are set out in your order.
  • Credits are used at the rate for each destination and message type. The cost of each send is shown before you confirm it.
  • Prices exclude taxes such as GST and VAT, which are added where they apply.
  • Carrier fees and rates can change. We'll give you notice of price changes where we reasonably can.
  • Unused credits remain available while your account is active. Credits aren't refundable, except where the law requires it.

6. Our service

We work hard to keep Textezy available and messages flowing, but delivery depends on carriers and networks outside our control. We don't guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered at a particular time. We may update features as the product improves.

We may suspend sending, or your account, if we reasonably believe it's being used unlawfully, against our Acceptable use policy, or in a way that puts other customers or carrier relationships at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you first and work with you to fix it.

7. Data

You own your contacts and content. We process them only to provide the service, as set out in our Data processing agreement. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle data about you as a user.

8. Intellectual property

We own the Textezy platform, brand and software. You may use them only to use the service. You keep ownership of your content and give us permission to use it only to run the service for you.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each party's total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You'll cover our reasonable losses arising from messages you send in breach of the law or these terms.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. Custom plans end as set out in your order. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breach. After the account closes, you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.

11. General

We may update these terms and will give notice of important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction. Questions? Email legal@textezy.com.
